Bianca S. is thrilled to be a part of BUG. Her passion for urban gardening and love for the Third Ward community led her to join BUG. She discovered the community garden about seven years ago and quickly fell in love with its beauty and what it offered to the community. In the early years, the garden felt like an oasis, and she volunteered with planting, harvesting, and general upkeep.

Bianca has a Ph.D., works in higher education, and has dedicated over twenty years to community involvement. She looks forward to supporting fellow gardeners and discovering new opportunities to engage and excite Third Ward residents about growing and consuming healthy food.
