Dr. Kimberly Adams serves as the Executive Director for Blodgett Urban Gardens. She is also the Director of Recovery at APTIM, a leading provider of disaster recovery program support and grants management to communities affected by natural or human-made disasters. She has over 15 years of experience in government and private sectors, specializing in community development, strategic planning, sustainability, and resiliency.   

Dr. Adams core competencies include CDBG-DR advisory, program development, performance measurement, community engagement, and business development. She has delivered high-quality results in complex and dynamic environments, working with clients across various sectors and regions. She also has shared my expertise and insights as a speaker, trainer, and educator, empowering organizations and communities to achieve their goals and overcome challenges through effective and innovative strategies. As an avid gardener dedicated to promoting sustainability through community involvement, Dr. Adams is passionate about organic gardening practices and educating others on the importance of composting, water conservation, and natural pest control methods. Known for organizing community gardening projects, Dr. Adams is committed to promoting locally grown produce and minimizing environmental impact.
