Zaynah Muhammad is the TSU Student Representative at Blodgett Urban Garden. Her journey at Blodgett started in 2021 as a volunteer who just wanted to get familiar with the community. Through the garden, she has been able to connect with students who had no idea of the importance of networking. Zaynah’s hard work, passion, and dedication to implement sustainable practices in the community and educating her student body peers is something she prides herself in. All while dedicating her time to her community she is also a committed student studying Civil Engineering.

Ms. Muhammad has a strong commitment to public service, which is demonstrated by her hours of volunteer work at BUG, her stellar academic record, and her extracurricular.Zaynah actively participates in various student organizations, including the National Society of Black Engineering, and the American Society of Civil Engineers, demonstrating her dedication to promoting diversity, inclusion, and community engagement.
